Ted Wright has a very particular taste in music. The founder and CEO of a marketing agency in Atlanta loves bands like REM and Pylon, alternative rock sound that took shape in Athens, Georgia in the 1980s (it REM bought the last CD the day it was released). And prefers listening to music on products designed by the Danish company Bang & Olufsen consumer electronics. The centerpiece of Wright B & O BeoSound collection is a CD-9000 "classic", he calls Wright.This unit is not like any CD you have seen other: Mounted on a wall is a shimmering strip of metal and glass smoked about one meter in length (or height, depending on how you guide). He holds a half-dozen CDs, so that their labels face outward, visible through the glass. The unit "CD clamp" slips back to the disk depending on whether you select. Wright has had since about the time it debuted in 1996, B & O has sold up to August this year on-site business he describes as a sculpture "kinetic.
