We use Nortel phones and I accidentally entered my long distance code before making (what could have been) a local call.
If you dialed the call using 10 digits there should be no problem. If you dialed the call by prefixing a 1 the local call should have been blocked by either the schools equipment or the central office serving the school and you should have gotten a recording. I would not worry about it either way.
